Hi! My name is Katy Plaziak and I am a 22 year old theater performer currently based in Bloomington Indiana. I was born and raised in Milton, Georgia just outside of Atlanta. At a young age, I filled my household with songs and dances of my own. I was always creating musicals and dances in my living room with full costumes and all!  The creativity I embodied as a child was wrapped up and placed into dance class at the age of 7. My passion for the arts grew from there with the competitive dance world, junior musicals, and extensive performance training in Atlanta. I just knew that this was what I needed to be doing in life. The heartbeat of theater lived within me and I had to share it with others. 

   

    Through the 2020 pandemic I found Indiana University where I am currently obtaining my BFA in Musical Theatre. This program has taken my training and knowledge to the next level. I am constantly inspired by the artists around me and enjoy cultivating magic in the Midwest. 

   

    When I'm not on stage, you can catch me hanging out with friends, shopping on the town, eating pasta and still creating dances like I did in my living room!
